Genoa is an Italian city located on the coast of the Ligurian Sea with a large port. It is the largest port not only on the coast of the Ligurian Sea, but also in the whole of Italy. Raw materials needed for industry are unloaded here from all over the world. Genoa was a maritime republic. In the 14th century, the Republic of Genoa extended its rule over the entire Ligurian region and Fr. Corsica. The Ligurian Sea is not rich in fish and the inhabitants of the coast do not do much fishing. Tourism, however, is highly developed. Here there are resort villages that work all year round. These are the villages of San Remo, Bordighera, Portofino. San Remo is famous for the Festival of Italian Song.

A Perugia si possono vedere monuments dall'epoca etrusca, romana, medioevale e rinascimentale. Chi ama l'arte non può fare a meno di visitare i diversi musei e la Galleria Nazionale dell' Umbria dove si possono amirare le opere di varie poche ei tesori della pittura umbra e toscana. Oltre all'Università degli Studi di Perugia che risale al XIII secolo, c'é  l'Università per Stranieri, aperta a gente di ogni nationalità che vuole studiare la lingua e la cultura italiana. Thanks to the presence of students of every age and every part of the world, questa piccola città di provincia assumes l'aspetto vivo e colorito delle città mondiali.
