Like everything, e-commerce has its drawbacks. Here are the main ones:

Customers do not have the opportunity to touch the products they want, which in turn leads to a number of problems. When you cannot see and touch the details of the product, it is possible to order something that is not for you. Be it not meeting quality requirements or expectations for sizes and colors;

Forms of online trade

  • lack of overall shopping experience – For most people, shopping is a pastime and a time for oneself. They have worked all day, they have worked hard to earn money and as a result they want to pamper themselves. The online store cannot give them this pleasure as the physical one does. The feeling of walking around, looking, trying, touching the goods is something irreplaceable. As long as one likes to do it;
  • specific goods – there are goods that are difficult, expensive and overwhelming to sell online. These are specialist approved goods which for each customer will need adjustment such as adding or removing parts, length etc. Such an example is the machines for making other smaller things. They weigh a fortune, they're expensive, and customers always have questions about how they work and everything about them;

What we mean by "E-Commerce"

  • return of goods and money – in physical stores there are also returns of goods and money, but the percentage is lower compared to online commerce. When ordering online, especially for clothing, there is a high chance of wrong sizes, ill-fitting fits, or people ordering loads of items to try on and choose one item. There are clothing brands whose sizes are reduced or enlarged. A new customer of this brand is size C, but when the sizes are reduced, he will need M. And the point is that there should always be size tables in the online store, but a minimal number of people pay attention to this table , because they are sure of their size. And that's when the inconvenience and the return of orders occurs;

Advantages of e-commerce

  • more work with the goods – displaying the goods in the physical store is not an easy task, especially if it is done with thought. But to a certain extent, it is lighter than displaying goods in an electronic store. In the physical world, the product can "talk" to the customer, while online things do not. With the e-shop you have to deal with the following:
  • text descriptions for all products;
  • technical specifications, if any;
  • multiple photos and their processing;
  • selection of related goods to sell to customers;
  • product reviews or video clips;
  • individual packaging of orders and shipping.
